Something Old Something New

An old drawing given new life. This is the rejuvenation of an old idea that was originally going to be a web comic. For now it's the first in a series of superheroes I created that are loosely based on our favorite icons. Meet "Pigeon".

Alternative History

Toy ostriches paired with bustles, the plaids of Polynesia. I've always like alternative arrangements. Maybe they make sense some where or when. Parallel universe maybe? :)

Follow the Gunk

A pencil rough for the myth of Jorinda and Jorel or Jorel and Jorinda? Not one I had read more than once before, but I thought parts of it were kinda groovy haha. The finished is still an in progress kind of thing.

Pet the Lion!

A value drawing for a Children's book dummy I put together for a class last year. Still finishing up the final dummy, its based on a charming poem by John Ciardi. Why Nobody Pets the Lion at the Zoo.

Displaced Matter

A random sketch I did while I was trying to get inspired for actual work, it did serve its purpose! A decayed and strange like version of The Frog Prince. It makes more sense that the frog would be big... what about displaced matter you know? Kind of like Mystique in the X-Men, it has to go somewhere..... I know I know its magic.

Wonky Rapunzel

This was done as a conceptual piece for a comic I wrote. I don't know if the comic will ever truly see the light of day, but I plan to be finishing this at some point. I do love a good wonky perspective.

Red

I have a minor obsession with the fairy tales... there I said it. Huge weight lifted :) Red's one of my favorites. I always figured she fought back a bit. Feisty I say.
